Activity is not the same as momentum
A full content calendar can still be disconnected from the commercial reality of the business. Strategy decides what the business is trying to change before selecting the channels and activities most likely to help.
Give every channel a job
Instagram may build familiarity and proof. Search may capture high-intent demand. Email may nurture people who are not ready yet. Paid media may accelerate distribution around a specific offer.
The exact mix is less important than knowing why each channel is there.
The smaller the team, the more strategy matters
Large teams can absorb some waste. Small businesses usually cannot. Clear priorities protect time, creative energy and budget from being scattered across activities that have no defined role.
Before asking 'What should we post?', ask 'What does the business need marketing to accomplish next?'
